Beware of Recruitment Scams
The Antal Talent team has become aware of an increasing number of recruitment scams in which fraudsters impersonate our employees in an attempt to gain access to candidates’ bank accounts, personal information, and other sensitive data.
How the Scam Works
Fake Online Interviews via Zoom or Microsoft Teams
Fraudsters obtain contact details from publicly available sources, including job boards and professional networking platforms. They contact candidates, falsely claiming to represent Antal Talent, and invite them to an online interview.
The interview is typically scheduled via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or a similar video conferencing platform. During the call, the fraudsters may ask candidates to share their screen, log in to their online banking application, or open suspicious links that could compromise their personal information or lead to unauthorised financial transactions.
Please note that Antal Talent consultants will never ask you to share your screen or access your online banking or financial accounts during an interview.
Requests for Paid Assessments or Suspicious Links
In some cases, fraudsters may ask candidates to pay for recruitment tests or assessments.
Antal Talent never charges candidates for recruitment services or employment opportunities. Any assessments we conduct are limited to professional or personality assessments that are part of our recruitment process and are communicated through our official channels.
If you receive such a request, please contact Antal Talent using our official contact details before taking any further action.
Please also note that fraudsters do not use official Antal Talent email addresses and typically communicate via messaging applications or telephone numbers that are not associated with our company.
What Should You Do?
